Agnes Bruckner

Agnes Bruckner has been a film actress for more than 30 years. She was born in Los Angeles, CA USA on August 16, 1985. She played Sandra Bullock's co-star on Murder by Numbers. Agnes Bruckner (born August 16 1985 ) is an American model and actress. Her first appearance on television was in the 90s, and later in movies like The Woods. Bruckner started her career at age 11 of eleven. She appeared in commercials in a few television pilots and on the daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in 1999. Bruckner's first leading role came on the screen in Blue Car (2002), an independent film in which she played a student who was involved in an affair with David Strathairn as her high school teacher. Roger Ebert said that Bruckner performed the role confidently. Bruckner won an Independent Spirit Award as "Best female lead" for her performance. She was born and raised in a household of three brothers and two sisters. She regularly practiced Hungarian in order to improve her language proficiency. Bruckner was a Californian from Hollywood being born of Hungarian parents and Russian mothers who had separated. Bruckner's paternal grandmother was German. The couple met in Hungary and moved into the U.S. in 1984 through an asylum camp in Italy. Her siblings include three sisters and a brother.
